Hey, NATHAN & Spark!

Any progress? I've got a workable, I believe sea-worthy Savonious rotor wind trap (with ceramic/titanium bearings and a magnetic clutch arrangement for the generator) ready. The SMPS works with it, but it can be improved.

Does not appear there's been any even moderately successful Atlantic attempts over 2014. Maybe 2015 they'll crank back up.

Not much progress from me at the moment, sorry guys!

Would be great to get some pics of the Savonious rotor. On side note there is a fair amount of activity on the microtransat emailing lists.

That's not a problem. My wife is due with our first in April, so sweet FA is happening on mine at the moment as I plough through the list of jobs I have. How is the wedding planning coming along anyway?

Congratulations Spark!

Our wedding was last August in St Ives, we then moved into our new home in September and have just about finished renovating it.

Cleared the garage out last weekend, haven't moved the boat in from the old house yet.
